Returns & Refund Policy

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a product that has a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Our 30-Day Returns Policy

In addition to your rights under ACL, we offer a 30-day returns policy. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided:

- The item is unworn and in its original condition
- The item is in its original packaging
- You have proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt)

How to Initiate a Return

1. Email us at hello@palpa.com.au with your order number and reason for return.
2. We will provide you with return instructions and a return address.
3. Ship the item back to us. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
4. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund within 5 business days.

Refunds

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account after processing.

Exchanges

If you'd like to exchange your alpargatas for a different size, please email us and we'll arrange this for you. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We will arrange a free return and send you a replacement or full refund at no extra cost.

Items Not Eligible for Return

- Items that have been worn, washed or altered
- Items returned after 30 days of delivery
- Gift cards
